The A9Q41425 is an add-on residual current device (RCD) from the Acti9 Vigi iC60 range — a modular, clip-on unit that plugs into the outgoing side of an iC60 MCB to add earth-leakage protection. It's a 4-pole (4P) device rated for 25 A continuous current, with a 30 mA sensitivity and instantaneous trip response. The 30 mA threshold means it protects against direct-contact shock hazard (the standard for socket-outlet circuits per IEC 60364), tripping within milliseconds when leakage exceeds that level. It's voltage-independent, so it still clears a fault even if the phase voltage collapses. Insulation voltage is rated 500 V AC, and impulse withstand is 6 kV — enough for a fixed-installation distribution board. The device is built to EN/IEC 61009-1 and EN/IEC 61009-2-1, the harmonised standards for RCDs integrated with overcurrent protection (RCBOs) and standalone RCDs respectively.
The module occupies 6 x 9 mm pitches (54 mm width), and its depth is 73.5 mm — check your enclosure depth, as some shallow consumer units may not clear the wiring space behind it. Height is 91 mm. The bottom terminals are tunnel-type, accepting 1…25 mm² rigid cable (or 1…16 mm² flexible, with or without ferrules). A comb busbar can be used on the bottom side for group distribution. IP20 on the device body (finger-safe), IP40 inside a modular enclosure — standard for distribution boards in dry indoor locations. The trip indicator gives a local visual signal that the RCD has operated, which helps during fault-finding on a multi-circuit panel.
