The 25 A rated current (In) and 30 mA sensitivity define the load and protection envelope: the RCD is sized for a 25 A outgoing circuit, and the 30 mA threshold provides personnel protection (shock risk) per IEC 61009-1. The voltage-independent tripping technology means the RCD operates without needing a separate power supply; it uses the fault current itself to trip the mechanism.
The clip-on mounting to DIN rail (per EN/IEC 61009-1 and 61009-2-1) and 27 mm width (3 x 9 mm pitches) mean it occupies one standard modular slot in a distribution board. The bottom tunnel terminals accept 1…25 mm² rigid or 1…16 mm² flexible cable, with a tightening torque of 2 N·m and a strip length of 14 mm. The 6 kV impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) and 500 V rated insulation voltage (Ui) provide the coordination headroom for standard 230/400 VAC networks.
