Rated 63 A at 380...415 V AC, 50/60 Hz — sized for the main incoming feed of a small commercial sub-board or the outgoer of a larger distribution panel. The 300 mA sensitivity is a common choice for general-purpose socket-outlet and lighting circuits where a lower 30 mA threshold would cause nuisance tripping on cable leakage. Type AC means it detects sinusoidal alternating earth-leakage currents only; if the load includes rectified or pulsed DC fault currents (e.g., from VFDs, UPS, LED drivers), a Type A or Type B RCCB is required instead. The instantaneous trip (no time delay) ensures fast disconnection on earth faults, but means it cannot be used in selective (S-type) coordination schemes where a delayed downstream RCCB is needed.
