The Schneider Electric A9R51463 is an Acti9 iID residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) — 4 poles, rated 63 A, with a 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity. It's a Type A device, so it catches sinusoidal AC faults and pulsating DC faults up to 6 mA smooth DC — covers most modern electronics and single-phase rectified loads without nuisance tripping.
The rated breaking and making capacity is Idm 1500 A / Im 1500 A; that's the short-circuit withstand of the RCCB itself (not a breaker's interrupting rating, but enough to survive a fault until an upstream MCB clears it). Surge current withstand is 250 A (8/20 µs impulse), conforming to EN/IEC 61008-1, so it won't trip on lightning-induced spikes or capacitive inrush. IP20 on the body, IP40 inside a modular enclosure: fine for dry indoor panels, not for washdown areas.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail, 9 mm pitches: 8 modules wide (72 mm). Neutral is on the left — verify busbar orientation before assembly. Terminals accept 1–35 mm² rigid or 1–25 mm² flexible; wire stripping length is 14 mm. Padlocking provision for lockout/tagout.
