The Schneider Electric A9SCO125 is a 1-pole changeover switch from the Acti9 iSSW series, rated 25 A at 230/240 V AC. It is designed for switching between two AC supply sources — mains and generator, or utility and backup — in a single-pole configuration. AC-23A covers occasional motor switching, AC-22A covers resistive and lightly inductive loads.
The 17.5 mm width (one modular pitch) and 44 mm depth fit tightly into a crowded enclosure — two 9 mm pitches are occupied. Screw terminals accept 1…16 mm² rigid or 1…10 mm² flexible wire; strip length is 12 mm. Tightening torque is 2.5 N·m top and bottom. The toggle has three positions (ON-OFF-ON) in white, and a padlock can be locked in the ON position. IP20 body, IP40 inside enclosure — not for washdown, but fine inside a clean panel.

Rated insulation voltage 690 V, impulse withstand voltage 6 kV — enough for 400/480 V distribution panels. Short-time withstand current 0.5 kA for 1 s at 230/240 V; peak making capacity also 0.5 kA. Pollution degree 3 (conductive or dry non-conductive pollution, typical for industrial control panels). Electrical durability 7000 cycles, mechanical 10000 cycles. Ambient temperature range -25…60 °C. Complies with EN/IEC 60947-3 and AS/NZS 60947-3, with CE and RCM marking.
