Arc fault detection add-on block for the Acti9 iC60 range
The Schneider Electric A9TAA1240 is an Acti9 ARC iC60 arc fault detection add-on block, 2P, rated 40 A at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 62606. The 40 A rating means this block is sized for a 40 A branch circuit — match it to the same-rated iC60 breaker to protect the full load current. The 2P (two-pole) format with neutral left suits single-phase or split-phase panels where both poles are switched.
Clip-on mounting on a DIN rail, 2 module pitches (9 mm each) wide — 54 mm total width, 73 mm depth, 91 mm height. Occupies two standard 18 mm slots in the enclosure. Terminal tunnels accept 1–10 mm² flexible or 1–16 mm² rigid copper; strip 14 mm, torque to 2 N·m. Ambient operating range -25 to 60 °C, storage -40 to 85 °C, 95 % RH at 55 °C.
