Arc-fault detection device for final circuits
Rated 25 A with a C curve, it detects series and parallel arcing faults that standard MCBs cannot sense — the magnetic tripping limit is set at 5 to 10 x In, and the thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overload and short-circuit protection per EN/IEC 60898-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2. Breaking capacity is rated at 3 kA (Icn1) and 6 kA (Icn) per EN/IEC 60898-1, plus 10 kA (Icu) per EN/IEC 60947-2, all at 230 V AC 50 Hz.
The C curve (magnetic trip 5–10 x In) means the device tolerates moderate inrush — suited for lighting, socket outlets, and small motor loads where starting current briefly exceeds the thermal threshold. The 25 A rating covers 2.5 mm² copper circuits up to roughly 5.7 kW at 230 V. The 1P+N format (neutral left, poles description: 1P+N) switches the phase and provides neutral disconnect — standard for single-phase final circuits in European distribution boards. The device is rated for outgoer position only (device location in system: Outgoer).
