Rated 25 A with 30 mA sensitivity, Type A (AC and pulsating DC fault detection), it provides instantaneous earth-leakage tripping for 3P circuits on 400 V AC networks at 50/60 Hz. The voltage-independent tripping technology means it does not require an external power source to operate, which is a reliability advantage in loss-of-supply scenarios.
Type A detection handles both sinusoidal AC residual currents and pulsating DC, which covers most modern electronic loads (switched-mode supplies, inverters, variable-speed drives) that can generate pulsed fault currents a pure AC type would miss. Rated operational voltage is 400 V AC (400/415 V AC per IEC 61009-1), and the insulation voltage is 500 V AC with a 6 kV impulse withstand (Ui/Uimp). The 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 250 A confirms it handles surge events without nuisance tripping. The tunnel-type terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid cable or 1–16 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule) at the bottom; tightening torque is 2 N·m. Ambient operating range is –25 to 60 °C, storage –40 to 85 °C, with IP20 on the terminals and IP40 on the modular enclosure.
