The A9V29263 is an add-on residual current device from the Acti9 Vigi iC60 range — a 2-pole, 63 A unit with Type A earth-leakage protection, selective time delay, and 1000 mA sensitivity.
Type A protection detects sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents, which covers most modern electronic loads (switched-mode supplies, variable-speed drives). The selective (time-delayed) characteristic means it will not trip on transient earth faults or inrush; it coordinates with downstream instantaneous RCDs so only the faulted branch clears. Voltage-independent tripping means the RCD operates even if the line voltage collapses — a safety advantage on circuits where loss of neutral could otherwise blind the protection.
Panel integration
Tunnel-type terminals at the bottom accept 1…35 mm² rigid or 1…25 mm² flexible conductors; tighten to 3.5 N·m. IP20 finger-safe with the modular enclosure in place, IP40 inside the panel. Pollution degree 3 per IEC 60947-2 — rated for the conductive-dust environment typical of industrial switchboards.
