The Schneider Electric A9W14225 is an Acti9 Vigi iC60 add-on residual current device (RCD) — a voltage-independent, instantaneous-trip module that clips onto the downstream side of an iC60 MCB to create a 2-pole RCBO combination. It's rated 25 A at 230/415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, with a 300 mA AC-type earth-leakage sensitivity.
Mounts via clip-on to a DIN rail, occupying 3 x 9 mm pitches (63 mm width). It's an outgoer device — meaning it sits on the load side of the circuit, after the MCB. The tunnel-type terminals accept 1…25 mm² rigid or 1…16 mm² flexible cable; tightening torque is 2 N·m, strip length 14 mm. The screw connection to the MCB means you bolt it mechanically to the iC60's double terminal — no busbar jumper needed. IP20 on the device body, IP40 inside a modular enclosure.
Rated insulation voltage 500 V AC, impulse withstand 6 kV. The 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 250 A per IEC 61009-1 means the RCD won't nuisance-trip on common surge shapes.
