Rated 63 A with 100 mA sensitivity, Type A, 2-pole, it provides instantaneous earth leakage tripping for AC networks at 230/415 V, 50/60 Hz.
The 63 A rated current (In) and 100 mA earth leakage sensitivity define the load and protection threshold. Voltage-independent tripping means the RCD operates without needing a separate power supply; it uses the fault current itself to trigger the mechanism, which makes it inherently fail-safe against loss of control voltage. Rated operational voltage of 230/415 V AC matches standard European single-phase and three-phase distribution. With an insulation voltage (Ui) of 500 V and impulse withstand (Uimp) of 6 kV, the device is coordinated for installation in panels with upstream surge protection. The 4-module width (72 mm, 4 x 9 mm pitches) occupies four DIN spaces — account for that when laying out the panel. IP20 body protection; IP40 inside a modular enclosure.
Designed and certified to EN 61009-1 and IEC 61009-1, the standard for RCDs with integral overcurrent protection (though this is an add-on block, the MCB partner carries the overcurrent function). The 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 250 A per IEC 61009-1 confirms immunity to surge currents from lightning or switching transients.
