The Schneider Electric A9XPA648 is a cuttable comb busbar from the Acti9 range, designed to distribute power across 48 modules (18 mm per module) in a DIN-rail enclosure. It carries 1 line (L) plus neutral (N) plus an auxiliary way — 32 ways total for Aux + N + 1 L — at a 9 mm pitch between phase and neutral. Rated 80 A at 40 °C and 400 V AC insulation voltage, it's sized for standard 230/400 V three-phase distribution panels where you need to feed a row of miniature circuit breakers or RCBOs from a single incoming supply. That's enough for a main feeder feeding a sub-distribution board or a lighting panel — not a main switchboard bus.
Mounts horizontally on top of tunnel-type terminals. The 862 mm width and 26 mm depth mean it spans the full width of a standard 48-module DIN-rail assembly. IP20 with the supplied end-pieces and tooth covers — indoor panel use only, not for washdown or outdoor enclosures. The 9 mm pitch matches the standard pole spacing of Acti9 MCBs and RCBOs, so you clip the busbar directly onto the terminals without adapters. Comes with end-pieces and tooth covers — you need those to maintain IP20 and to cover the cut ends if you trim the busbar to a shorter length. The busbar is cuttable, so you can size it to exactly the number of modules your row needs. Fire resistance tested to 960 °C for 30 seconds per IEC 60695-2-1, which is the standard for components that must not propagate a fire inside the panel.
