The voltage-independent tripping technology means it doesn't need an external power supply to detect leakage; it steals the fault energy from the line itself, so it still protects even if the neutral is lost upstream. Rated insulation voltage is 400 V AC and impulse withstand is 4 kV per EN/IEC 61009-2-1, so it's safe for a 230/400 V three-phase system even though it only switches one phase plus neutral. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1…16 mm² rigid or 1…10 mm² flexible copper; strip length 14 mm on the bottom connection. It connects to the upstream MCB via screws (the add-on residual current device format), so it's not a standalone RCBO — it requires a compatible Acti9 MCB bolted to its side.
