Overview
The ABE7R16S210E is a Modicon ABE7 electromechanical output relay sub-base packing 16 channels of volt-free NO contacts, each rated to switch 10 A max at 250 V AC or 30 V DC, powered from a 24 V supply. It draws 0.36 W from the PLC end, fits a 35 mm DIN rail or solid plate, and terminates via spring-clamp terminals accepting 0.14 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded wire.
Selection and sizing
Each channel switches a minimum of 10 mA at ≥5 V, so it handles both signal-level and moderate loads up to 5 A switching current — a wider load range than the 8-channel ABE7R08S216, which bottoms out at 2 mA and tops at 2 A switching.
