Function and fit
The ABE7R16T330 is a 16-channel output sub-base from the Modicon ABE7 range, designed to hold plug-in electromechanical relays in a Schneider PLC I/O system. It operates on a 19-30 VDC supply with a maximum supply current of 1 A, and each channel provides a volt-free C/O contact. The base includes a 1 A internal fast-blow fuse (5x20 mm) for short-circuit protection on the supply side; total coil current across all loaded relays must stay under this limit. Status LEDs—one green per channel plus one green for power—allow quick visual confirmation during commissioning or fault finding. Environmental ratings include pollution degree 2, installation category II, and IP2X ingress protection. Vibration resistance is 2 gn over 10-150 Hz, shock resistance 15 gn for 11 ms, all per IEC 60068.
Fixes by clips onto 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail or by screws onto a solid plate using the fixing kit. Tightening torque for the screw terminals is 0.6 N·m (5.3 lbf·in) with a flat Ø 3.5 mm driver.
