Installation notes for the panel builder
Mount vertical ±10°. Kit includes power module, mains unit, three fuse holders, and brackets with nuts/screws/washers for fuses. Cabinet integration gives IP21 or IP54 depending on enclosure — IP21 is typical for dry indoor, IP54 for dusty or splash-prone. Prospective line Isc of 50 kA — size upstream fuses or breaker accordingly. Switching frequency adjustable 2.5–8 kHz; if you run above 2.5 kHz, derate output current per the manual (figure not quoted here, but it's in the datasheet). Ambient temp derating kicks in above 40 °C.
Putting it to work — motor side
This module handles both synchronous and asynchronous motors. At 480 V, normal duty 250 hp / heavy duty 200 hp. Apparent power: 223 kVA normal duty, 181 kVA heavy duty. THDI stays under 48% from 80–100 % load with the integrated filter. Use heavy duty for constant-torque loads (conveyors, extruders); normal duty for variable-torque (pumps, fans). Operating altitude up to 4800 m with current derating above 1000 m.
