The Schneider Electric APM1L0LPMY6 is a line paralleling power module in the Altivar Process Modular range, designed to parallel multiple drive modules for higher current output or redundancy in liquid-cooled systems. It operates on a 500...690 V three-phase supply at 50/60 Hz, with a ±10 % tolerance on voltage and ±5 % on frequency. Rated IP00 on the module itself, but when integrated into a suitable cabinet it can achieve IP21 or IP66 per IEC 61800-5-1. UL Type 1 or Type 12 enclosure ratings are also attainable with proper cabinet integration per UL 61800-5-1. The module complies with a broad set of standards: UL 61800-5-1, IEC 61800-3 (EMC), IEC 61800-5-1 (safety), IEC 61000-3-12 (harmonic limits), IEC 60721-3 (environmental), IEC 61508 (functional safety), and IEC 13849-1 (machine safety). It carries CE marking and is rated for pollution degree 2 environments per IEC 61800-5-1.
Installation and environmental constraints
Cabinet-mount only, vertical operating position. Ambient temperature range is -10 to 40 °C without derating, and 40 to 50 °C with derating. Storage temperature spans -40 to 70 °C. Relative humidity 5 to 95 % non-condensing per IEC 60068-2-3. Altitude rating is ≤ 4800 m with current derating above 1000 m — a standard curve for drive power modules. Shock resistance is 4 gn for 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27; vibration resistance is 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2-13 Hz and 0.5 gn at 13-200 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. Chemical pollution resistance class 3C3 and dust pollution resistance class 3S3 per IEC 60721-3-3, meaning it withstands harsh industrial atmospheres with moderate chemical exposure and fine dust — provided the cabinet maintains the required IP rating.
EMC and electrical characteristics
EMC immunity is tested to level 3 for electrostatic discharge (IEC 61000-4-2), radiated RF (IEC 61000-4-3), and conducted RF (IEC 61000-4-6); level 4 for electrical fast transients (IEC 61000-4-4); and level 3 for surge (1.2/50 µs – 8/20 µs per IEC 61000-4-5). Insulation resistance exceeds 1 MΩ at 500 V DC for one minute to earth.
