Product details

APM9B0CTLY6 is the control module for the Altivar Process Modular range, designed to pair with an ATV900 regen drive in the 500-690 V class. It runs the drive logic, fieldbus, and safety functions — separate from the power section, so you can swap a control board without pulling line power. Supply for the digital inputs is 24 V DC (19-30 V), and the STO circuit gets its own 24 V DC rail (21-27 V) with SIL 3 rating. The module also provides a 10.5 V DC reference for a 1-10 kΩ potentiometer.

Fieldbus & I/O

Communication is dual-stack: Ethernet/Modbus TCP at 10/100 Mbit/s (RJ45 on the remote terminal) and a separate RS-485 serial link at 4.8-38.4 kbit/s, RTU framing, slave addresses 1-247. The Ethernet port handles both IP and TCP frames, autonegotiating half/full duplex. Sixteen preset speeds are selectable via discrete inputs — useful for multi-speed applications without reconfiguring the bus.
