1045 kW medium voltage drive — 36-pulse input, floor-standing
The ATV1200A12506666 is an Altivar 1200 medium voltage variable speed drive rated for 1045 kW motor power at 1250 kVA apparent power, supplied from a 2970–3630 V line via a 36-pulse diode rectifier bridge. It is assembled in a floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows for power and control sections — the control section draws from an external 220 V AC, 3 kVA supply; the cooling fans run on 380 V AC. The drive delivers output voltage up to the supply voltage level and is intended for asynchronous motors, with a speed range of 20–100 %.
Overload profiles and fault withstand — sizing the installation
Standard overload rating: 1.2× In for 60 s or 1.5× In for 3 s. High overload rating: 1.5× In for 60 s or 1.85× In for 3 s. Prospective line short-circuit current is 31.5 kA for 150 ms; dielectric strength between earth and power terminals is 20 kV AC. The drive includes integrated EMC filtering and provides ground fault protection as standard.

Enclosure dimensions: 1600 mm depth (high efficiency) or 1500 mm depth (standard efficiency); width is 3960 mm (standard efficiency) or 4260 mm (high efficiency); height is 2670 mm for both variants. The enclosure is grey (RAL 7032) and must be mounted in a vertical position within ±10 degrees. Cooling is forced convection requiring 19800 m³/h (high efficiency) or 16500 m³/h (standard efficiency) of cooling air; noise level is 80 dB.
