1463 kW medium-voltage drive with 30-pulse rectifier
The ATV1200A17506060 is a Schneider Electric Altivar 1200 medium-voltage AC drive rated for 1463 kW motor power, fed from a 2970...3630 V supply via a 30-pulse diode rectifier bridge. The 30-pulse topology cancels the 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 17th, and 19th harmonics at the input — no external harmonic filter needed for IEEE 519 compliance at most installations. The drive delivers output voltage up to the supply voltage level and handles asynchronous and synchronous motors. Overload capability is 1.2 In for 60 s standard duty or 1.5 In for 60 s high overload, with a short-duration 1.85 In for 3 s on the high-overload profile.
Floor-standing enclosure and physical footprint
Assembled in a floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows for the transformer and power cells. Standard-efficiency configuration measures 4360 mm wide × 1500 mm deep × 2670 mm high; the high-efficiency variant is 4660 mm wide × 1600 mm deep at the same height. The enclosure colour is grey RAL 7032. Forced convection cooling moves 19800 m³/h (standard efficiency) or 23100 m³/h (high efficiency) of air. The 80 dB noise level means hearing protection zones around the drive are expected. Operating position is vertical ±10 degrees, with altitude derating of 0.6 % per 100 m above 1000 m up to 2000 m.
Active production with full compliance package
Dielectric strength tested at 20 kV AC between earth and power terminals. Prospective line short-circuit withstand is 31.5 kA for 150 ms. Ground fault protection is built into the drive.
Control interfaces and auxiliary supplies
The drive includes 4 software-configurable analogue inputs (0...20 mA / 4...20 mA, 24 V max, 250 Ohm impedance) and 1 analogue output of the same type. Discrete inputs are 6 standard, expandable to 10. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits is maintained. Control supply requires external 220 V AC at 3 kVA; an optional 220 V AC/DC supply is available. The internal cooling fan supply is 380 V AC, also available as an external option. The HMI is included as part of the product composition.
