The ATV1200A18303333: Supply voltage range is 2970...3630 V AC, fed through an 18-pulse diode rectifier bridge that reduces line harmonics below IEEE 519 thresholds without an external filter. The drive handles synchronous and asynchronous motors with standard overload: 1.2 In for 60 s or 1.5 In for 3 s. High-overload duty delivers 1.5 In for 60 s and 1.85 In for 3 s.
Floor-standing enclosure — physical footprint and cooling air volume
Assembled in a floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows for power and control sections. Standard-efficiency configuration measures 1500 mm deep × 4560 mm wide × 2670 mm high; high-efficiency adds depth to 1700 mm and width to 4860 mm. Forced-convection cooling moves 19,800 m³/h (standard) or 23,100 m³/h (high efficiency) through the cabinet. Noise level at full fan speed is 80 dB. Operating altitude from 1000 m to 2000 m requires current derating of 0.6 % per 100 m above 1000 m. Pollution degree 2 per EN/IEC 61800-5-1 applies.
Internal architecture — phase-shifting transformer and power cells
The drive comprises a phase-shifting transformer, 9 power cells, medium-voltage arrestors, cooling fans, and a human-machine interface. The 18-pulse input stage cancels the 5th and 7th harmonics at the transformer secondary. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits is maintained throughout. Dielectric strength tested at 10 kV AC between earth and power terminals. Prospective line short-circuit current withstand is 31.5 kA for 150 ms. Ground fault protection is integrated on the drive side.
Control I/O and compliance documentation
Four software-configurable analogue inputs accept 0...20 mA or 4...20 mA, 24 V max, 250 Ω impedance. Two analogue outputs offer the same current ranges. Six discrete inputs are standard, expandable to 10. External control supply is 220 V AC at 3 kVA; internal cooling fan supply is 380 V AC. Optional external supplies for both control and fan are available. CE marked. Conforms to EN/IEC 60204-11, EN/IEC 60529, EN/IEC 61800-3 (EMC), EN/IEC 61800-4, and EN/IEC 61800-5-1. Integrated EMC filter simplifies panel compliance.
