Power stage and load fit
The ATV1200A32105555: Rated for 2684 kW motor power at 3210 kVA apparent power. The supply voltage range is 2970–3630 V, and the input uses a 30-pulse diode rectifier bridge — this topology keeps line-side harmonics low enough to meet IEEE 519 without a separate filter in most installations. Overload capability is defined for both standard and high-overload duty: 1.2 In for 60 s (standard) and 1.5 In for 60 s (high overload), with short-duration peaks up to 1.85 In for 3 s. That means it handles starting surges and process overloads without nuisance tripping on a pump or conveyor.
Physical footprint and site prep
Floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows. Dimensions: 1700 mm depth (high efficiency), 6070 mm width (high efficiency), 2670 mm height (both high and standard efficiency). The cooling fan draws 29700 m³/h — plan for adequate room ventilation or ducting. Operating position is vertical ±10°; altitude derating starts above 1000 m at 0.6 % per 100 m. For installations above 2000 m, contact the supplier for additional derating guidance.
CE marked and designed to EN/IEC 60204-11, EN/IEC 60529, EN/IEC 61800-3, EN/IEC 61800-4, and EN/IEC 61800-5-1. Electrical isolation between power and control with a dielectric strength of 20 kV AC between earth and power terminals. Pollution degree 2 per EN/IEC 61800-5-1.
Control interfaces and I/O
Four software-configurable analogue inputs (0–20 mA / 4–20 mA, 24 V max, 250 Ω impedance) and one analogue output of the same type. Six discrete inputs standard, expandable to ten. External control supply at 220 V AC, 3 kVA.
