Medium-voltage drive for 3 MW motor loads
The Schneider Electric ATV1200A37803333 is an Altivar 1200 series medium-voltage AC drive rated for 3160 kW motor power with a supply voltage range of 2970 to 3630 V. This is a floor-standing cabinet assembly measuring 5870 mm wide by 2740 mm tall by 1700 mm deep — it occupies a dedicated substation room, not a panel. The 18-pulse diode rectifier bridge input topology inherently mitigates line harmonics, reducing the need for external filters. Overload profiles and duty cycle planning

Match the profile to your application's peak torque demand — a crusher or centrifuge start may need the high-overload 60-second window. The prospective line short-circuit current rating is 31.5 kA for 150 ms, which sets the upstream protection coordination requirement. Ground fault protection is integrated into the drive. System architecture and cooling demands

The I/O is suitable for basic speed reference, feedback, and start/stop commands. Power connection uses bar-type M10 screw terminals accepting 6 x 40 mm² cable per phase, with entry from the bottom or top. Output voltage is at or below the supply voltage.
