The ATV1200A55401010 is a medium-voltage variable speed drive from the Altivar 1200 family, built for asynchronous motor control in the 4.6 MW range. It accepts a 2970–3630 V supply through a 48-pulse diode rectifier bridge, which keeps input harmonics low enough to meet IEEE 519 without an external filter. Rated motor power is 4631 kW with an apparent power of 5540 kVA and a line current of 320 A. The output voltage tracks the supply voltage, so the motor sees the full incoming line. The drive is assembled in a floor-standing enclosure with separate airflow paths for the power cells and the control section — a design that keeps heat from the transformer and cells away from the electronics.
