510 kW / 610 kVA — sizing the drive to the motor load
Rated 510 kW motor power with 610 kVA apparent power at the output. The 48-pulse diode rectifier input keeps line-side harmonics low enough to meet IEEE 519 without a separate filter in most installations — the phase-shifting transformer in the cabinet handles the cancellation. Supply voltage range is 2970–3630 V — this is a medium-voltage drive, not a 480 V unit. The output voltage tracks the supply, so motor nameplate voltage must match the available line. Standard overload: 1.2 In for 60 s, 1.5 In for 3 s. High overload profile: 1.5 In for 60 s, 1.85 In for 3 s. Coordinate the upstream breaker's instantaneous trip setting to stay above this threshold.
Floor-standing cabinet — physical footprint and site prep
Cooling is forced convection with 19,800 m³/h airflow at standard efficiency. The internal cooling fan runs on 380 V AC; the control supply is 220 V AC, 3 kVA. Noise level is 80 dB — hearing protection zones around the drive are standard. Electrical connection uses M10 bar-type terminals with clamping capacity for 6 × 40 mm² conductors per phase, entry from bottom or top. The cabinet includes 2 plinths, a phase-shifting transformer, medium-voltage arrestors, cooling fans, an HMI, and 24 power cells.

CE marked. Designed to EN/IEC 60204-11, EN/IEC 60529, EN/IEC 61800-3, EN/IEC 61800-4, and EN/IEC 61800-5-1. Pollution degree 2 per EN/IEC 61800-5-1, overvoltage category II. Integrated EMC filter — the drive meets the conducted emission limits of the 61800-3 standard for the intended environment. Dielectric strength tested at 28 kV AC between earth and power terminals. Electrical isolation between power and control sections. Operating altitude 1000–2000 m with 0.6 % current derating per 100 m above 1000 m.
