The ATV12H075M2X is a current-production Altivar 12 drive sized for a 0.75 kW (1 hp) motor on 100-120 V single-phase input. Line current at heavy-duty rating is 10.2 A at 100 V and 8.5 A at 120 V, which sets the supply-side wire and fuse sizing. Switching frequency is adjustable 2-16 kHz; running above 4 kHz applies a derating factor, so for continuous full-load operation at higher carrier frequencies the drive must be oversized or the load reduced.
Fieldbus and control note
Communication is Modbus serial over a 2-wire RS-485 physical interface, RTU frame, with selectable baud rates of 9.6, 19.2, or 38.4 kbit/s. The single RJ45 connector handles the bus connection. Addressing supports 1 to 247 nodes. The drive includes an adjustable PID regulator for closed-loop process control, and the analog input linearity error is ±0.3% of maximum value.
