Overview

The ATV12HU15M3 is a Schneider Altivar 12 series AC drive, rated 2 HP at 240 V AC three-phase input, delivering 7.5 A output current. It carries a heat sink style, IP20 enclosure, and Modbus communication onboard.

This drive controls a 2 HP induction motor via keypad, remote keypad, or Modbus. The 240 V AC three-phase input feeds a DC bus that drives the output stage; the 7.5 A continuous output current matches the motor full-load amps for a 2 HP 240 V three-phase motor. The heat sink style dissipates heat to the cabinet air — panel builders should allow clearance around the heat sink for natural convection. Modbus RTU on the RJ45 port handles setpoint, start/stop, and monitoring; the LED display shows frequency and fault codes.

Applications
