Applications
As an Altivar 32 drive, it controls three-phase asynchronous motors in applications such as conveyors, pumps, fans, and packaging machines.
Features & function
The drive supports Modbus and CANopen communication via a front RJ45 connector, enabling integration with PLCs and fieldbus networks. An adjustable PID regulator is built in for closed-loop process control, and the drive includes three analog inputs (voltage, bipolar, current) and one analog output configurable for current or voltage. Integrated protections cover input phase loss, overcurrent, overheating, short-circuit between motor phases, and earth faults; a Class C2 EMC filter is integrated for conducted emissions compliance.
