Overview
The drive is IP20-rated for in-cabinet mounting with an integrated heat sink and includes a class C2 EMC filter.
Applications
As an Altivar 32 drive, it controls three-phase asynchronous motors in material handling, packaging, pumping, and ventilation applications.
The drive withstands 15 gn shock for 11 ms per EN/IEC 60068-2-27, suitable for installations subject to mechanical vibration. An adjustable PID regulator enables closed-loop process control for pressure or flow regulation without an external controller. Built-in protections cover input phase loss, output phase-to-earth short circuit, motor overheating, and motor short circuit, reducing the need for external protective devices.
Compliance
The drive carries CE marking and complies with EN 55011 class A group 1, EN 61800-3 environments 1 and 2 category C2, and EN/IEC 61800-5-1. An integrated class C2 EMC filter meets conducted emission limits for industrial and residential environments without an external filter.
