The Schneider ATV350U22N4I is a current-production Altivar Machine ATV350 drive rated for 2.2 kW motor power at 8.5 A output, 400-480 V 3-phase. It targets asynchronous and synchronous motors in conveying applications, with an output frequency range of 1...599 Hz. The advanced variant includes an integrated Class C2 EMC filter for 10 m cable runs and STO (safe torque off) as a built-in safety function.
Sizing & Derating
The 8.5 A output current is the continuous rating at 400-480 V for conveying applications. The drive is 3-phase with a current derating of 2.5 % per °C.
I/O & Fieldbus
The drive carries programmable digital inputs (24 V logic with internal supply), one incremental encoder input (24 V), and M12 I/O connections for EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, or PROFINET via the base module. Physical interface is two 100BASE-FX Ethernet ports. IO scanner access is standard. Local status is via red LEDs.
Compliance & Safety
Marked CE, UL, CULus, IEC, UKCA. Standards include IEC 61800-5-1 (safety), IEC 61800-3 (EMC environments 1 category C2 and 2 category C3), UL 508C, IEC 61508, and IEC 13849-1. The integrated Class C2 EMC filter covers conducted emissions for 10 m cable lengths, meeting machinery directive 2006/42/EC. Pollution degree 2 environment. STO (safe torque off) is included as a safety function. Protection covers line phase loss, motor phase loss, overvoltage/undervoltage, overheating, overload, PTC probe input, short-circuit between motor phases, and ground fault.
