The ATV350U22N4W is a basic version drive from the Altivar Machine ATV350 family, sized for 2.2 kW asynchronous or synchronous motors on a 3-phase 400-480 V line. It delivers 8.5 A output current and covers 1-599 Hz output frequency, with a switching frequency adjustable from 2 to 16 kHz (derate current above 2 kHz). Integrated Class C2 EMC filter is good for most industrial environments without an external box. STO (safe torque off) is built in, so no separate safety relay for that function.
Wall-mounted, horizontal orientation. Dimensions: 12.2 in high, 20.6 in wide, 9.2 in deep — fits a standard 600 mm wide enclosure backplate. Natural air cooling (no fan), so keep clearance around the heatsink. Rated for pollution degree 2, 5-95% RH non-condensing, and 1000 m altitude without derating (derate 0.5% per additional 100 m).

Internal 24 V DC supply for logic inputs. Discrete inputs are 12 V DC programmable (0-0.8 V low, 11-24 V high). One incremental encoder input (24 V). Physical interface includes two 100BASE-FX Ethernet ports supporting EtherNet/IP. M12 I/O connectors for EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET on the base. IO scanner access method.
