Fieldbus and I/O slice

The drive ships with dual 100BASE-FX Ethernet ports supporting EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET via M12 I/O connectors. The base unit also carries EtherCAT on the same M12 interface. An incremental encoder input (24 V) is standard, and the 12 V DC discrete inputs are programmable for NPN or PNP logic. The internal 24 V DC supply powers the logic inputs, so you don't need an external power supply for the control section.
