The Schneider Electric ATV6000C100A3333NA3 is an Altivar Process ATV6000 medium-voltage variable speed drive in a floor-standing enclosure. It's built for 800 kW normal-duty or 760 kW heavy-duty motor loads, rated at 1000 kVA apparent power, and draws 175 A line current in normal duty or 166 A in heavy duty. The input stage uses an 18-pulse diode rectifier bridge, which keeps total harmonic current distortion (THDI) below 3% per IEEE 519-1992 — no external harmonic filter needed for most utility compliance requirements. Output is via IGBT inverter cells with multilevel PWM, suitable for permanent magnet, synchronous, and asynchronous motors.
The 18-pulse rectifier and integrated EMC filter meet IEC 61800-3 Category C3 for control and C4 for power. The 96% power factor and 34.9 kW normal-duty losses are used for transformer sizing and cooling load calculations. The 10-inch LCD touchscreen HMI is multi-language, and the control block carries two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP plus one RJ45 for Modbus serial. Option slots A and B accept communication modules (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, CANopen) and encoder interfaces (digital, analog, resolver, HTL). Dimensions are 3560 mm wide × 1400 mm deep × 2751 mm high — verify door swing and crane access before committing floor space. Cable entry is bottom-only.
Marked CE and EAC. Standards compliance includes IEC 61800-3, IEC 61800-4, IEC 61800-5-1, IEC 60529, IEEE 519:1992, and EN/IEC 60076. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits.
