The ATV6000C163A6666ND is a 3-phase Altivar Process ATV6000 drive rated 1300 kW normal duty and 1140 kW heavy duty, with an apparent power of 1630 kVA. It uses a 30-pulse diode rectifier input and IGBT inverter cells with multilevel PWM output, keeping input current THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992 and power factor at 0.96. Line current is 143 A normal duty, 125 A heavy duty; power losses run 56.6 kW normal duty and 49.6 kW heavy duty. The drive is designed for synchronous, permanent magnet, and asynchronous motors.

This drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure measuring 108.3 in high, 144.09 in wide, and 59.06 in deep. Cable entry is at the bottom. The enclosure colour is light grey RAL 7035. Standard equipment includes a 10-inch LCD touch screen multi-language display, a phase-shifting transformer, power cells, medium voltage arrestors, and cooling fans. The control block has 2 RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and 1 RJ45 for Modbus serial. Slot A accepts communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (daisy chain RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), and EtherCAT. Slot B accepts encoder interface modules (5/12 V digital, analog, resolver, HTL) and I/O extension modules. The drive has 8 programmable digital inputs (24 V DC), configurable analog inputs (0-10 V DC or 0-20 mA), and 3 configurable relay outputs.
