The Schneider Electric ATV6000C200A6666NA3 is a medium voltage drive from the Altivar Process ATV6000 range, built for permanent magnet, synchronous, and asynchronous motors. It delivers 1600 kW in normal duty and 1520 kW in heavy duty, drawing 175 A line current normal duty / 166 A heavy duty. The 30-pulse diode rectifier bridge keeps input THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992, so it meets utility harmonic limits without an external filter on most sites.
Apparent power is rated 2000 kVA, so the drive handles a motor starting inrush and sustained load within that envelope. Power losses run 69.6 kW normal duty / 66.1 kW heavy duty — that heat must be removed by the forced-convection cooling system and accounted for in the room HVAC. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 on the control side and C4 on the power side, which is typical for industrial MV drives installed in a dedicated electrical room.
Integration notes
Cable entry is bottom only. The enclosure measures 4660 mm wide by 1500 mm deep by 2751 mm tall — plan floor space and lifting gear accordingly. Two option card slots (A and B) accept communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, plus encoder interface and I/O extension. The 10-inch LCD touch screen provides local control and monitoring. Protection covers line supply overvoltage/undervoltage/phase loss, DC bus overvoltage, transformer thermal overload, cabinet overheating, motor earth fault, and IGBT cell short-circuit — each with a dedicated drive-level response.
