The Schneider ATV6000C334A6666ND is a current-production Altivar Process ATV6000 variable frequency drive rated 3340 kVA apparent power on a 3-phase supply. It uses a 36-pulse diode rectifier input, which keeps line current THDI under 3% per IEEE 519-1992 — no external harmonic filter needed for most utility compliance. Motor power capability is 2140 kW in heavy duty and 2670 kW in normal duty, with corresponding line currents of 234 A and 292 A.
The 36-pulse topology means this drive draws clean power without a separate active front end — if your site has weak supply or existing distortion limits, the <3 % THDI figure is a hard spec to match with a standard 6-pulse drive plus filter. Power losses run 116 kW at normal duty and 93.1 kW at heavy duty — that heat goes into the room, so ventilation sizing should account for it.
Integration notes
The enclosure is floor-standing, sized at 108.3 inches high by 203.1 inches wide by 66.9 inches deep — plan for a dedicated pad or foundation. Cable entry is from the bottom. The control block carries two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one for Modbus serial, plus slots for fieldbus option cards (Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT) and encoder/resolver feedback modules. The 10-inch LCD touch screen supports multi-language HMI. Cooling is forced convection; the noise level is 85 dB, so ear protection is warranted near the drive.
