The Schneider Electric ATV6000C375A1111NA3 is a medium voltage drive from the Altivar Process ATV6000 range, rated for 3000 kW normal duty and 2540 kW heavy duty, with an apparent power of 3750 kVA. It uses a 54-pulse diode rectifier bridge on the input and IGBT inverter cells with multilevel PWM on the output, keeping input current THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992.
The 3750 kVA apparent power tells you the transformer and cable sizing upstream need to handle that full-load kVA, not just the motor kW. Line current is 197 A normal duty, 166 A heavy duty, so the incoming feeder and fusing should be specced for at least the normal-duty figure.
Installation and compliance
Cable entry is at the bottom. The drive includes an integrated EMC filter: category C3 on the control side, C4 on the power side. Standards compliance covers IEC 61800-3 (EMC), IEC 61800-5-1 (safety), and IEEE 519-1992 (harmonic distortion). Marked CE and EAC. The 10-inch LCD touch screen is the local HMI; the control block has two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one for Modbus serial. Option card slots A and B accept communication modules (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, CANopen) and encoder interfaces (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver, HTL).
