The ATV6000C382A6666ND is a Schneider Electric Altivar Process ATV6000 AC drive rated for 3050 kW normal duty and 2930 kW heavy duty, with a 30-pulse diode rectifier input and IGBT multilevel PWM output. The 30-pulse topology keeps input current THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992, so it meets harmonic limits without external filters in most installations. Line current is 334 A normal duty, 320 A heavy duty, and apparent power is 3820 kVA at a power factor of 96.
Floor-standing enclosure and control supply
The drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure (66.9 in deep, 234.6 in wide, 108.3 in high) with bottom cable entry. It includes the enclosure, cooling fans, power cells, medium-voltage arrestors, phase-shifting transformer, HMI (10-inch LCD touchscreen), and plinth. The control circuit accepts 100–240 V AC 47–63 Hz or 120–370 V DC; the cooling fan runs on 400 V AC. Forced convection cooling keeps the IGBT cells within their thermal budget. Digital inputs DI1–DI8 are programmable at 24 V DC, with DI7 and DI8 configurable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz. Two RJ45 ports on the control block handle Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and Modbus serial. Slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, or EtherCAT communication modules; Slot B accepts encoder interface modules (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver, HTL) or I/O extension modules.
Protection coverage and motor compatibility
Protection extends to line supply overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, DC bus overvoltage, thermal overload for the transformer, cabinet overheating, overcurrent, overload, short-circuit protection, IGBT per-cell protection, motor thermal protection, motor phase break, motor earth fault, control circuit break, and fan monitoring. The drive is designed for permanent-magnet, synchronous, and asynchronous motors. Operating altitude is 1000–2000 m with derating; relative humidity 5–95% without condensation per IEC 60068-2-3. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1. Noise level is 83 dB.
