The Schneider Electric ATV6000C625A1010NA3 is an Altivar Process ATV6000 medium-voltage drive in a floor-standing enclosure. It delivers 6250 kVA apparent power, rated for 5000 kW normal duty and 4740 kW heavy duty motor loads, with a 48-pulse diode rectifier front end that keeps input THDI under 3% per IEEE 519-1992.
The 48-pulse rectifier eliminates the need for external harmonic filters on most grids — the THDI stays under 3% at the drive input. Line current is 340 A heavy duty, 361 A normal duty; plan supply cabling and transformer sizing accordingly. Power losses run 179.4 kW heavy duty, 189.3 kW normal duty — that heat must be handled by the room's ventilation or HVAC, not the drive's forced-convection fans alone. The 10-inch LCD touch screen is the primary HMI; the control block carries two RJ45 for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP, one RJ45 for Modbus serial, and slot A accepts Profibus DP, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, or EtherCAT communication modules. Slot B takes encoder interfaces (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver, HTL). Both slots also accept digital/analog I/O extension and output relay modules.
