630 kVA drive for medium-voltage motor control
The ATV6000D630A6666ND is a 630 kVA Altivar Process ATV6000 drive rated 500 kW normal duty and 470 kW heavy duty, using a 30-pulse diode rectifier front end and IGBT inverter cells with multilevel PWM output. Total harmonic current distortion is below 3% per IEEE 519-1992, and the power factor is 0.96 — the multi-pulse topology cleans the line without an external filter for most installations.
Floor-standing enclosure with integrated transformer
The drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure measuring 103.03 in high by 108.7 in wide by 55.1 in deep, with bottom cable entry and forced-convection cooling. Provided equipment includes the phase-shifting transformer, power cells, cooling fans, plinth, medium-voltage arrestors, and the HMI — the enclosure is a complete assembly, not a bare drive chassis.
10-inch touch screen and multi-protocol comms
The HMI is a 10-inch LCD multi-language touch screen; the control block carries two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one for Modbus serial, plus slot A supports Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, or EtherCAT option cards. Slot B accepts encoder interface modules (digital 5/12 V, analog, resolver, HTL) and I/O or relay extension modules — the drive can be configured for closed-loop speed or position control without an external controller.
