The Schneider Electric ATV6000D890A3333NA3 is a medium-voltage Altivar Process drive rated for 890 kVA apparent power, delivering 570 kW in heavy-duty service or 710 kW in normal-duty service. The 18-pulse diode rectifier input keeps line-side THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992, so it meets harmonic compliance without an external filter in most industrial grids. Line current draws 125 A heavy duty, 156 A normal duty. The floor-standing enclosure measures 2760 mm wide by 2641 mm high by 1400 mm deep — that footprint governs the substation floor plan and cable entry routing (bottom entry only). Forced-convection cooling with integrated fans; noise level is 80 dB, so ear protection zones apply near the cabinet.
Integration and control interfaces
The drive ships with a 10-inch LCD touchscreen HMI, configurable relay outputs (three), and programmable digital inputs (eight, two configurable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz). Analog I/O covers 0–10 V and 0–20 mA on both inputs and outputs, 12-bit resolution on inputs. Communication slot A accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), or EtherCAT modules. Slot B handles encoder interfaces (5/12 V digital, analog, resolver, HTL). A digital/analog I/O extension module or output relay extension module fits either slot. Control circuit supply can be 100–240 V AC 47–63 Hz or 120–370 V DC; auxiliary power is 230 V AC, and the cooling fan supply is 400 V AC. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits is standard. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 on the control side and C4 on the power side.
