The Schneider Electric ATV6000D890A6060NA3 is a medium-voltage Altivar Process ATV6000 drive rated for 890 kVA apparent power, delivering 710 kW for normal duty and 670 kW for heavy duty induction, synchronous, or permanent magnet motors. The input stage uses a 30-pulse diode rectifier bridge, keeping total harmonic current distortion (THDI) below 3% per IEEE 519-1992 without an external filter. It ships in a floor-standing enclosure (2760 mm wide × 2617 mm high × 1400 mm deep) with integrated phase-shifting transformer, power cells, cooling fans, and a 10-inch LCD touch screen HMI.
Integration notes
Two option card slots (A and B) accept communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, or I/O and relay extensions. The control block includes two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 for Modbus serial. Eight programmable digital inputs (24 V DC, two configurable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz) and configurable analog inputs (0–10 V or 0–20 mA, 12-bit) handle the control interface. Three relay outputs (one NO/NC fault, two NO sequence) are standard. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits is maintained. Protection covers line supply overvoltage/undervoltage/phase loss, DC bus overvoltage, transformer thermal overload, cabinet overheating, overcurrent, overload, short-circuit, motor phase break, motor earth fault, and fan monitoring.
