The Schneider Electric ATV6000D950A2424ND is an Altivar Process ATV6000 medium-voltage drive in a floor-standing enclosure, rated for 3-phase input and output. It delivers 950 kVA apparent power and handles 610 kW heavy-duty or 760 kW normal-duty motor loads, covering synchronous, asynchronous, and permanent magnet motors.
Input harmonics stay under 3 % THDI per IEEE 519-1992 thanks to the 54-pulse diode rectifier bridge, so you can skip external line reactors on most utility feeds. The integrated EMC filter covers both C3 (control) and C4 (power) categories — no add-on filter box needed for most industrial environments. Protection covers the full chain: line over/undervoltage, phase loss, DC bus overvoltage, cabinet overtemperature, IGBT short-circuit per cell, motor thermal and earth fault. That means the drive handles fault isolation itself — no separate motor protection relay required for basic coverage.
Installation notes
Bottom cable entry, forced convection cooling, and a 90.3 dB noise level — plan for ear protection nearby and clearance for airflow under the cabinet. The control supply accepts 100-240 V AC or 120-370 V DC; the cooling fan runs on 400 V AC. Digital inputs are 24 V DC, configurable up to 30 kHz on two inputs for pulse inputs.
