The Schneider ATV630C31N4US is a standard version drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 series rated 315 kW normal duty (250 kW heavy) with 616 A continuous output at 2.5 kHz. It runs on 380-480 V supply and delivers 0.1-500 Hz output for both asynchronous and synchronous motors. Built-in STO (safe torque off) to SIL 3 eliminates the need for an external safety relay on the power circuit. The drive also includes an integrated C3 EMC filter rated for 50 m cable runs, which keeps conducted emissions under limits for industrial environments.

Mounting and cooling

Wall-mount vertical orientation, ±10° tolerance. Forced convection cooling moves 1260 m³/h air; derate current above 1000 m altitude by 1% per 100 m. IP21 achieved with kit VW3A9113; base is IP00. Slot A accepts fieldbus modules including Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP, CANopen variants, and BACnet MS/TP. Slot A/B can also host digital/analog I/O or relay extension modules.

Input current THDI below 48% at full load per IEC 61000-3-12. Acoustic noise rated at 76 dB.
