The Schneider Electric ATV630D30N4US is a current-production variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 series, rated 30 kW normal duty at 380-480 V and delivering 61.5 A continuous output at 4 kHz. Heavy duty rating drops to 22 kW / 46.3 A — sized for constant-torque loads like conveyors or pumps that cycle above base speed. Integrated EMC filter covers the first 50 m of cable at C2 (restricted distribution) and 150 m at C3 — no external filter needed for most industrial installations. STO SIL 3 is built in, separate safety CPU not required.

Wall-mount only, vertical ±10°, forced convection cooling pulls 240 m³/h. Leave side clearances per the manual — the DIN-rail adapter is not included. Supply frequency tolerance is 50/60 Hz ±5%. Discrete inputs DI7, DI8 can be programmed as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz — loop-powered encoder feedback without an external converter. Communication port defaults to Modbus TCP and serial; fieldbus option cards (Profibus DP, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, BACnet, Powerlink) slot into connector A.
