The ATV630D30N4Z is a 380-480 V variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 family, rated 30 kW in normal duty and 22 kW in heavy duty. Continuous output current is 61.5 A at 4 kHz (normal duty), with a 46.3 A heavy-duty rating. Frequency range 0.1-500 Hz covers most pump, fan, and compressor profiles. Built-in EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C2 for cable runs up to 10 m and category C3 up to 50 m. IP20 on the main enclosure; bottom terminals are IP00.

Safety and control integration

Safe Torque Off (STO) SIL 3 is factory-fitted – no separate safety module needed for drive stop functions. Eight discrete inputs, one configurable as 0-30 kHz pulse input. Adjustable PID regulator for closed-loop process control. Standard Modbus serial and Ethernet Modbus TCP onboard. Slot A accepts plug-in communication modules: Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, BACnet MS/TP, or Ethernet Powerlink. Slot A and slot B also accept I/O extension and relay option cards.
