The ATV630D37M3US is a 37 kW normal-duty / 30 kW heavy-duty variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 series, sized for a 200-240 V three-phase supply. Rated continuous output current is 149 A at 2.5 kHz for normal duty, 123 A at 2.5 kHz for heavy duty. Motor power ratings are 50 hp normal duty, 40 hp heavy duty. The drive includes STO (Safe Torque Off) rated SIL 3 as a standard safety function. Communication is via Modbus serial and Ethernet Modbus TCP; slot A accepts optional Profibus DP, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, CANopen, or Ethernet Powerlink modules.

Wall-mount only, vertical ±10°. IP21 per IEC 61800-5-1 and IEC 60529; UL type 1 per UL 508C. Forced convection cooling requires 295 m³/h of cooling air. Noise level at full load is 62.4 dB.

Controls and I/O

Eight discrete inputs are provided; DI7 and DI8 are programmable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz, 24 V DC, 1 MOhm, 500 V DC for 1 minute to earth. The regulation loop includes an adjustable PID regulator suitable for process and utilities applications such as pumps, fans, and compressors. The drive is designed for both asynchronous and synchronous motors.
