This Altivar Process ATV630D45N4US is a variable speed drive for asynchronous and synchronous motors in process and utilities applications, rated 45 kW normal duty (37 kW heavy duty) at 380-480 V three-phase. Continuous output current is 88 A at 4 kHz switching frequency for normal duty, 74.5 A for heavy duty. Built-in Modbus serial and Ethernet Modbus TCP communication, plus a Slot A for optional fieldbus modules (Profibus, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, etc.). STO safe torque off with SIL 3 capability is standard on this drive.

Mounting and cooling

Wall mount with vertical orientation (within ±10°). Forced convection cooling; airflow is 240 m³/h. IP21 enclosure (UL Type 1) - suitable for clean indoor panels, not washdown. Operating altitude 1000-4800 m with 1% derating per 100 m above 1000 m. Environmental specs: 5-95% RH non-condensing, 15 g shock (11 ms), vibration 1.5 mm (2-13 Hz) / 1 g (13-200 Hz).
