Mounting and environmental limits
Mount on wall vertical within ±10°. Derate output current 1% per 100 m above 1000 m operating altitude. Pollution degree 2 environment, overvoltage category III. Vibration: 1.5 mm peak-to-peak at 2-13 Hz, 1 gn at 13-200 Hz; shock: 15 gn for 11 ms. Forced convection cooling requires clearance around the drive for air flow; the 38 m³/h fan noise measures 54.5 dB.
Safety and I/O
STO (safe torque off) is integrated at SIL 3 per IEC 61800-5-2, which simplifies safety circuit design for machinery. The drive has 8 digital inputs, two of which are programmable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz. Built-in adjustible PID regulator supports closed-loop process control without an external controller. Communication slots A and B accept Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, CANopen, BACnet MS/TP, or Ethernet Powerlink modules; Modbus TCP and serial are on-board.
