The Schneider ATV630U30N4ZU is a current-production variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV600 family, rated 3 kW normal duty / 2.2 kW heavy duty on a 380…480 V supply. It ships as a standard version with an integrated EMC filter good for 10 m cable runs at C2 and 50 m at C3 with the EMC plate option. STO (safe torque off) SIL 3 is built in, so you can separate the safety CPU from the motion bus without an external safety relay.

Continuous output current is 7.2 A at 4 kHz for normal duty, 5.6 A at 4 kHz for heavy duty. That 7.2 A figure is the nominal output current — it matches the normal-duty line. Heavy-duty line current at 380 V is 4.5 A; at 480 V it drops to 4 A. The drive is rated for asynchronous and synchronous motors, with an adjustable PID regulator onboard for process loops. Operating position vertical ±10°, altitude up to 4800 m with 1 % derating per 100 m above 1000 m.

Slot A or slot B can also take digital/analog I/O extension modules or output relay extension modules. The base drive includes Ethernet, Modbus TCP, and Modbus serial as standard communication ports.
